Best of 2015

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” – E. Erwitt

Best Wedding Photography of 2015

Here we are. Again. That time of the year where everything slows down a little and you’re looking back, summing up and rethinking all the good and the bad things that you’ve done and all people you’ve met and, as in my case, all the stories you’ve captured.

With a slow and, probably, not very promising start it actually turned out to be one of the most interesting years by far in my career as a photographer. I’ve have been very lucky to meet a wide range of very different people with very different stories to tell and managed to document love everywhere from fancy hotels to forest hideouts. From very massive wedding celebrations to little family gatherings in countrysides. With loads of love, laughter and a few tears there and then. Exactly what every good story needs.

I was very lucky to travel, invest time in my training and develop myself as a better photographer and, more importantly, a better storyteller. I was recognised by wedding industry awards, which was a massive win and achievement for me. Finally, I’ve become a member of a few and very prestigious communities Fearless Photographers and Junebug Weddingsrepresenting the best wedding photography and photographers.

Most importantly, I was incredibly lucky to be able to do what I do, to meet people who trusted me unconditionally and be surrounded by friends and loved ones who sacrificed a lot of time and supported me along the way.

All in all, it was a very good year and I’m hugely thankful for it.
