Destination Wedding Photography

The best part that I love about my job as a wedding photographer is travelling to new places, meeting new people and documenting their stories. This particular wedding was no doubt, an adventure. For the second time, I was lucky to travel to Scotland and for the first time to Scotland Highlands - a place that needs no description. Only a magical place where summer changes winter within minutes and the views are more than breathtaking. Ardtornish Estate - a magnificent house in a small seaside village overlooking the Rannoch river was build in the 19th century was it famous holiday destination ever since. Rebecca’s family has been staying at this estate since she was a little child, so naturally, it was no question for them where to host their wedding weekend. What can be better for a wedding location than a house filled with holiday memories of all the family vacations?

Ardtornish Estate Wedding

Rebecca & Tim didn’t want a one-day wedding; however, they want to have their family and friends there with them for a whole weekend, and Ardtornish Estate was simply the best solution for their wedding. Guests were travelling to the location since Thursday and enjoyed the nature, walks and chilled evenings before the big day. Understandably, by spending time together, all the people created a wonderful atmosphere for the wedding day. The wedding morning was remarkably comfortable and relaxed. Rebecca was getting ready at the house with her close friends while Tim and the boys were staying at the cottage near the estate. The ceremony was held in a local tiny village church. After the ceremony, the couple and all the guest went back to the estate for snacks and champagne. The evening continued with lovely dinner, speeches and, of course, traditional dancing followed by DJ till early hours in the morning. It was a fantastic wedding to photograph, and the whole weekend was filled with laughter and love.

Thank you guys so much for having me as your wedding photographer and allowing me to document your incredible adventure. If you’re planning on getting married abroad and looking for a destination wedding photographer to capture your wedding day creatively - give me a shout, and I’ll be thrilled to travel anywhere in the world to capture your day.
